Tina’s hens are on an egg laying spree so today she brought some to dye. My son and family are coming for a visit from Idaho on Saturday. They will be surprised to find a big basket of colored eggs for breakfast.
We didn’t hard boil these cuties so all the scrambled and fried eggs will taste even better with a colored shell! Five of the girls lay beautiful pale green eggs and the six others lay lovely brown eggs some with charming darker brown freckles. Cute chickens!
Here is what Anika and Zane will find when they open the refrigerator – a fun and full basket surprise of brightly colored eggs for breakfast.
Get out your eggs and dye them. Something fun just because……Happy getting ready for the bunny.

They look so pretty Robin....there is nothing better than farm fresh eggs. My LAQ has a farm...luv getting the colored eggs..quite often there are light green or light blue ones in the carton....or some really dark brown ones....her eggs taste sweet, delicious and occasionally there are some duck eggs too. I am going to dye some too...not sure if we will be heading to Canada for Easter or family will be coming here....either way it will be nice to see the grandones....miss them a lot...:o) Have a wonderful weekend....I'm working on the last block of the 'Love Me, Love My Cat' quilt. Have a wonderful weekend, hugs from Michigan.
