We are home and busy in the studio until taking off again next Monday for sunny and warm, Mesa, Arizona…..nice!
It was a great trip from Washington and the Sew Expo Show through Oregon and home again. We had a lovely time –AGAIN – in Kalama, Washington antiquing.
After shopping, we had an encore lunch at the Antique Deli and Pastry Shop. Our stop on the way up to Washington rated another welcome visit. Really delicious home made soups, chicken salad with almonds on home baked break…..yummy! For dessert I had an almond bar – the “chef’s” lemon bar receipe with almond extract. We will be back as soon as possible to visit the cheerful cooking gang.
Back to making kits and cutting up fabric for our next three shows. We have also been asked to create the cover pillow for the Better Homes and Gardens “Holiday Crafts” magazine. It is almost finished and then it will zip off to Iowa and the editor and photography. I’m so thrilled to have been asked for the 4th year in a row! We will have to wait until August/September to see it in print.
You ladies are very busy indeed. I just got the tickets and thank you so much. I'm counting the days. See you in Pomona.
