Bird Brain Designs

A new stock of the Little Birds Book came with our Stitch Zakka .  We have another RedWork Pillow in this book from a couple of years ago. ALL about birds – how perfect to have Robin at Bird Brain Designs as one of the designers. 26 fun designs from artistic to folksy to whimsical goodies to create.  26 Hand-made projects to Sew, Stitch, Quilt and LOVE….Happy Summer Stuff.

The new Stitch Zakka book arrived!  C and T Publishing asked me to contribute and I had a good time thinking up a RedWork design to add to the 21 other projects in the book.  FUN to be ‘published’! My project is two 5” x 7” RedWork Embroideries that I made “patches” of to finish and button onto some   nice floral Red and White cotton pillows. The thoughtful words are floating in a garden of flowers with friendly buzzing bugs enjoying the sweet scent. A completely relaxing project for some summer stitching! Enjoy!  Robin

On our Facebook page we have been chatting about Lavender….so beautiful this time of year!! Here is one of the two acres of Lavender bushes at Ceago Winegarden here in Lake County.  Totally amazing!  Their Lavender Festival is July 6th and then they harvest all those fragrant blossoms the following week to use in Lavender Products so nice to use!
