Bird Brain Designs

We hope to see LOTS of you folks at the show this weekend.  It is raining today in southern California but that won’t stop Quilters and Needle Workers from having a wonderful time at the show. Our 8 hours of work paid off and our little Shoppe on the Road looks great.  We have the new Tea Towels plus the NEW Animal Stackers Pattern set up to sell.  We are planning on a great day! I just finished adding the NEW Animal Stackers Tea Towels to the website.  All of you lovely Blog followers  will be the very first to know about them! Four Towel designs in colorful #8 Perle Cotton.  You can, also, Embroider each design in just a single color to complement your home – I stitched the Cow and Friends in 310 Black on our new Black Striped Tea Towel as an example. Have some FUN with NEW Animals in your Kitchen!

When the 4 NEW stripe colors for our Dunroven House Tea Towels arrived I was excited to begin designing a pattern especially for them. I have added the Black Striped Towel in a new pattern that is at the printer but not photographed yet…..next week for sure!  We are taking the towels and new pattern, Animal Stackers, to Road to California   January 24 – 27. For the 3 Bright Pastel Striped Towels I have been playing with some simple designs with lots of flowers and words to complement the bright stripe colors.  We have ordered 2 NEW #8 Perle cotton shades to go with the Turquoise Stripes.  Three are being stitched now and 3 more to think up and draw and then stitch.  I have such a fun job! These NEW Designs will be ready to publish and send off to you when we return from Road to California.  

Just arrived yesterday! Four NEW Tea Towel Stripe Colors             Three Brightly Colored Stripes that will be great backgrounds for some Spring and Summer Embroidery Designs….I need to get to work! The Lime Green Tea Towel has a fresh ‘citrus’ look you can surely have fun with in the kitchen! The Turquoise Tea Towel is a jewel tone I think would be a beautiful accent for SouthWest Designs. The Hot Pink Tea Towel is just plain FUN and I can see Contemporary plus Vintage Embroidery Designs happening here. The Black Striped Tea Towel is a color so many have requested….here it is for you! Have some FUN – I plan to.

It is a little late, but my wishes for a wonderful NEW year is still sincere!  Let’s do more stitching in 2013 and enjoy ourselves more!! Our new Show Schedule has been added to the Website.  We look forward to seeing lots of you in person at a show this year.  So far all are on the west coat – except our BIGGIE in Houston, Texas in the fall.  But, we are checking out more shows to attend in the Midwest. Our Bird Brain Two Team, Carol and Alan, would like to expand their Show Circuit and head farther east. Let us know about your favorite shows and would like to see our Bird Brain Booth come to!
