Houston is FUN

Seeing lots of Old friends from other shows and Lots of new folks too….very nice. Last night was opening Preview and we were TIRED at 10 pm.  Dragged out to Lucy parked under the freeway.  This morning pouring rain but the temps have gone down and not as much humidity….that is a real killer.  We Californians are not used to that for sure! Ready to head into the show for the first full day of FUN.  Make a plan to come to Festival some day….we would love to meet you.

Having a great Quilt Market in Houston

We are at the Wholesale Quilt Market in Houston, Texas.  Great show with lots of people coming by the booth. Set up was its usually crazy scene with people scurrying to and fro.   Things stay messy for nearly the whole day. Then it comes together very nicely…..this isn’t the best photo so I will take another when we get in today.  Yesterday was SO BUSY….very FUN! More news later today.  Going in early to shoot a video with Checker U, one of our great distributors.

Long Time No Chat!

No great excuse for not chatting with all of you nice friends……other than crazy busy around here!! Quilt Market and Festival is SO SOON – only 8 days until we leave Kelseyville and head southeast.  It takes us 4 days (1 1/2 days across Texas along!) to get there. We will introduce our lovely new and BIG line of fabric with E. E. Schenck in Portland, Oregon. In January we will be able to ship our new beauties! The Design Studio (my 3rd floor) is strewn with drawings, embroidery “under the needle” and stitched pieces waiting to be finished into models…..did I mention only 8 days until we leave? Still having FUN!
