Getting Ready for Kelseyville Pear Festival

The Pear Festival is a BIG event in our cute little town of Kelseyville!  Yesterday a bunch of really cute little girls in second grade painted pears on all the sidewalks in town.                       If you can come, please join us in the celebration of the beautiful Pear grown all around in orchards of Kelseyville and Lake County.  www.VisitKelseyville.com

NEW Trick or Treat Pattern for you

Get ready for the Trick or Treat gang coming for Halloween.  Embroider a couple of fun designs in BlackWork for the holiday.  Stitch them now to keep you amused until October 31! Stitched with Black #8 Perle Cotton from DMC on Tea-dyed cotton fabric.  I made the 4 pumpkin faces into an 8 1/2” square “patch” attached to a couple of black prints to use as a hanging.  The grinning Trick or Treat pumpkins with their carved teeth are a fun pillow.  Both can be made however you will have the most fun with on Halloween.

New FREEBIE Ready to Print and Embroider

Hard for me to believe but another month has blasted by me and it is time for a new FREEBIE design.  This month our 9th Tea Towel (in the collection of 12) is a pair of pears .  Say that fast a few times! It is pear harvesting time in Lake County, California’s large pear growing area.  In honor of all those lovely pears seen in the orchards all around us you can make pear tea towels.  The sweet mini pears in the photo are from Tina’s tree.  Very cute.
